I was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. After graduating from high school, I went to college at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Management. After graduating college, I started my career in management, serving in the sectors of restaurant, hospitality, and retail. I quickly discovered that the art of sales was critical in every industry I entered so when the opportunity to go into direct sales came up, I took it. It was during my experience in this role as a sales rep that I learned how difficult it is to find your mojo and maintain it. I watched as my team and I encountered more distractions and setbacks than ever. Through my experience and with the help of my coach, I learned how to overcome adversity and distractions in and out of the field so that I can consistently perform at optimal levels. I then shared with others the tips that had been shared with me and I saw others staying focused and getting similar or better results than what I had achieved.
